School Psychologist in Waunakee, WI

Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students and educators in a dynamic school environment as a School Psychologist. Located in close proximity to Waunakee, WI, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate with school teams and contribute to meaningful student outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

Active license as a School Psychologist in Wisconsin
Comprehensive understanding of best practices in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation within K-12 settings
Skill in conducting cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
Ability to develop and interpret Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
Strong advocacy and communication skills when working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Experience responding effectively to crisis situations and supporting social-emotional learning initiatives
Familiarity with data-driven decision making and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

Perform psychological assessments, interpret results, and share recommendations with educational stakeholders
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement student support plans
Consult with staff on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring legal compliance and student-centered planning
Assist in addressing bullying, social skills, conflict resolution, and other relevant topics
Support mental health awareness and prevention initiatives within the school community
Provide crisis intervention and collaborate on safety plans as needed
