Full-Time Dispatcher / File Clerk

Classic Chevrolet in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Dispatcher / File Clerk to join our team.

This is a combination position that will provide administrative and filing support while also assisting with dispatching responsibilities during designated hours. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment, and able to communicate effectively with employees and management.

Schedule

The anticipated schedule is:

• MondayThursday: 12:00 PM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Friday: Off
• Additional 4 hours per week to be scheduled based on departmental needs

Dispatching Hours:

• MondayThursday: 4:00 PM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

The remaining scheduled hours will primarily focus on filing, paperwork, record organization, and other administrative support.

ResponsibilitiesDispatching

• Coordinate and dispatch work to technicians based on workflow and department needs
• Help maintain an organized and efficient flow of work through the Service Department
• Monitor work in progress and assist with prioritizing assignments
• Communicate with Service Advisors, technicians, and management regarding workflow
• Maintain accurate information regarding repair order status and technician assignments
• Assist in keeping department operations moving efficiently during dispatch coverage hours

File Clerk / Administrative Support

• Organize, maintain, and file dealership and service-related records
• Ensure paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly stored
• Retrieve files and documentation as requested
• Assist with scanning, copying, and general recordkeeping
• Maintain organized filing systems
• Provide additional clerical and administrative support as needed
