Automotive Service Advisor / Tire Technician FULL-TIME • MONDAY–FRIDAY • NO REGULAR WEEKENDS

$20–$25 PER HOUR + MANUFACTURER SPIFFS & INCENTIVES

We are a family-owned tire and automotive repair business serving our community since 1978 , and we are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team.

This is a unique position for someone who enjoys working with customers but also isn't afraid to get their hands dirty . The position combines front-counter customer service and service writing with hands-on tire work in the shop.

If you have experience in the tire or automotive industry, that's a plus. If you have the right attitude, mechanical ability, and willingness to learn, we are willing to train the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

• Answer phones and assist customers at the front counter
• Schedule service appointments
• Greet customers and help write up service orders
• Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle and tire needs
• Help customers with tire selection and product information
• Mount, balance, rotate, and service tires
• Work with Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS)
• Communicate with technicians and other team members to keep jobs moving efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with other tire and automotive service duties as needed

Because we are a fast-paced shop , the ability to multitask is extremely important. You may be helping a customer at the counter, answering a phone call, checking on a service order, and then helping in the shop as needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, personable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a busy automotive environment.

Qualifications include:

• Valid driver's license – required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Tire and/or automotive experience preferred
• Tire mounting and balancing experience preferred
• Basic tire product knowledge is a plus
• TPMS knowledge is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual
• Willingness to complete tire manufacturer training and learning modules
• Ability to work well with customers and coworkers
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

We provide the tools and equipment necessary to perform the job. However, if you have your own automotive or tire service tools, you are welcome to use them.

Compensation

$20–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

In addition to hourly pay, employees have opportunities to earn manufacturer SPIFFs and other product incentives offered through our tire manufacturers.
