CNC 5-Axis Programmer

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on CNC 5-Axis Programmer (5+ years of experience) to join our client's team in this full-time, on-site role.

Pay: $60k – $85k/year Schedule: Mon–Fri (Min. 45 hours/week, Sat if required)

Key Responsibilities

• Program 3, 4, and 5-axis mills using MasterCam and read/understand G-code.

• Develop work-holding fixtures, select speeds/feeds, and interpret complex engineering prints (GD&T).

• Coordinate multiple projects in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.

• Preferred: Siemens Control & CamPlete experience.

Responsibilities

• Program 3, 4, and 5-axis mills using MasterCam, read and interpret G-code, and utilize CamPlete verification software.

• Interpret complex engineering prints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) to select optimal speeds, feeds, and tooling types for various materials.

• Design, develop, and program custom work-holding fixtures and jaws to support the manufacturing process.

• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on high-mix, low-volume production and prototyping parts while fulfilling all quality system requirements.

• Collaborate with the department lead to schedule production for a smooth workflow, while working as a team player who pitches in wherever necessary to get the job done.

The essential functions of this role include:
