Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC 5-Axis Programmer to join our dynamic team in Hartford, CT. If you have a passion for precision machining and a knack for programming complex CNC operations, this is the opportunity for you! You will work with state-of-the-art Mastercam software to create high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. Serving thre Aerospace, Defense, Firearms, & Medical industries. Join us and be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions will make a difference. Relocation Assistance and Sign- On Bonus Available.
Responsibilities- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis machining operations using Mastercam.
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce high-precision parts.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure program accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise.
- Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and revisions for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
- Proven experience in CNC programming, specifically with 5-axis machines.
- Proficiency in CAM software, particularly Mastercam.
- Strong understanding of CNC lathe operations and machining principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
