Midland, TX Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Diesel Mechanic) Location: Midland, TX Tenaris Facility Employment: Full-time, Day shift Pay: $32-40/hr DOE Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Heavy Equipment, Forklift & Gen Set Specialist Reporting To: Maintenance Manager Qualifications Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Ability to quickly identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and testing equipment. Hydraulic Systems Expertise Understanding of hydraulic schematics, pumps, valves, and cylinders. Diesel Engine Repair & Maintenance Proficiency with large diesel engines, fuel systems, and emissions technology. Electrical & Electronic Systems Skilled in reading wiring diagrams, repairing harnesses, sensors, alternators, and controllers (CAN bus systems). Powertrain Systems Knowledge of transmissions, drivetrains, axles, and torque converters. Preventative Maintenance Scheduling and executing PMs to reduce downtime and extend machine life. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Tool Operation Safe and efficient use of specialty tools for large machinery.
