Maintenance Technician

Job Details Location: Woodbury, MN 55125 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour Travel: Negligible Shift: Day Overview As a residential Maintenance Technician, you will perform ongoing facility maintenance and repairs to keep the company’s multifamily property operating and appearing at its best. Responsibilities Use three-plus years of experience in property maintenance to address work orders before issues become major problems. Conduct light carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and work on HVAC systems as needed. Attend to routine maintenance and general cleanliness of the property, including resident amenities such as the pool and clubhouse. Engage with residents in a friendly and efficient manner while maintaining a safety‑first approach. Work full‑time Monday through Friday, with occasional on‑call hours as scheduled by the Property Management team. Maintain your own tool kit and, when required, operate a company‑owned vehicle or your own vehicle; you must possess a valid driver’s license. Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to safety and integrity, treating all residents with respect and dignity. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time‑management skills. Proficiency with a variety of tools and materials needed for residential building maintenance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. High school diploma or GED required; at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in property management or hospitality. Preferred experience in general building maintenance or commercial residential environment, including light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair. Minimum age 18; must own tools and possess a valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, plus scheduled on‑call hours and occasional weekends. Capable of lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to use hands to manipulate tools and equipment, with adequate vision, stamina, and dexterity. Must walk, stand, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed in various weather conditions.
