Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking diligent candidates to work in our manufacturing environment, creating quality windows and patio doors. All candidates will be cross-trained in multiple areas within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Double Hung: Involves heavy lifting, repetitive work, and requires the ability to read schedules/labels.
• Direct Set: Requires the ability to work independently, learn about different materials and colors, and read paperwork and labels.
• CSMT: Role involves using a sash hanger, tape measure and reading schedules.
• Patio Door (open): Involves heavier lifting and tape measure use.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment (minimum 6 months).
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
• Solid attendance record.
• High attention to detail.
• Awareness of surroundings.
• Willingness to ask questions when unsure.
• Adaptable to cross-training in multiple areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable lifting 50lbs.
• Nice to have skills: tape measure, construction, hands-on manufacturing experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to speak English, whether secondary language or not.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Des Moines, IA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in West Des Moines,IA.
