Senior Payroll Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected organization in San Francisco to identify an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with strong ADP Workforce Now expertise. This is a high-impact contract opportunity supporting a major payroll and time management implementation project through parallel testing and system go-live.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support ADP Workforce Now implementation and payroll system testing activities
  
• Perform payroll validation, data comparison, and audit reviews during parallel testing
  
• Assist with ADP system configuration and time management validation
  
• Review system reports and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy
  
• Analyze large volumes of employee timekeeping and payroll information
  
• Partner closely with Payroll, HR, and project stakeholders throughout implementation
  
• Support quarter-end and year-end payroll processing activities
  
• Identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and testing results
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll processing experience
  
• Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
  
• Experience supporting payroll implementations, system conversions, or parallel testing
  
• Knowledge of payroll validation, reconciliation, and reporting processes
  
• Experience processing payroll for large employee populations, including hourly workforces
  
• Strong understanding of quarter-end and year-end payroll activities
  
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including:
  
  • XLOOKUP
    
  • VLOOKUP
    
  • Data validation
    
  • Spreadsheet reconciliation
    
  • Large dataset analysis
    
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, IT, and operational teams
  
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADP Time & Attendance or Workforce Management configuration
  
• Payroll implementation project experience
  
• Bilingual in Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, or Vietnamese
  
• Experience supporting organizations with large hourly employee populations

Compensation

The anticipated pay rate for this position is up to $45.00 to $55.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
