Travel Ultrasound Technologist - $2,200 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Boston, MA. The right US Tech must have 1 year of experience. Responsibilities Educate patients and/or patient’s family regarding procedures performed Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Qualifications and Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist BLS certification ARDMS National Certification (ARDMS OB/GYN optional) State‑specific licensing when required Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology Ability to work 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week Job ID #1437264.
