Service Advisor

Fleet Maintenance Manager

Manage and audit all fleet maintenance work orders, ensuring repairs are documented accurately, parts are properly billed, preventive maintenance is scheduled and tracked, and communication between technicians, drivers, and operations remains timely and professional. Essential duties include fields calls for service, breakdowns, and schedules preventative maintenance appointments. Greets drivers upon arrival to the Fleet service center, accepts vehicles for repairs, notes damage or other driver concerns, provides estimated repair time to Fleet Maintenance Manager / Supervisor, updates daily out of service reports, assigns vehicles to appropriate/available technicians, creates detailed repair orders based on driver write-ups, ensures repair orders are completed accurately, thoroughly inspected, and all parts issued are properly billed to the appropriate unit. Coordinates warranty repairs, vendor services, and outside repair work. Maintains established parts inventory, assists with inventory control, parts procurement, inventory cycle counts, and invoice processing. Regular and reliable attendance. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, 2+ years of related experience, customer service skills, oral and written communication skills, ability to handle complex issues and problems, must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel when needed, must pass a DOT medical physical, must have a valid drivers license.
