Med/Surg Tele RN - Night & Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position, with the potential for extension up to 20 weeks.

The position requires a rotating schedule of night and day shifts:

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Shifts may vary based on operational needs, but traveler preferences will be considered as much as possible.

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide patient care in a dynamic environment and may float to various units, including J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department, catering to similar patient populations.

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry floor.

Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and ECG rhythms.

Administer medications and treatment protocols in accordance with prescribed orders.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care initiatives.

Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as necessary.

Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.

18 months of recent experience in medical-surgical telemetry, including travel experience, is acceptable.

Current and valid Ohio nursing license or compact license required at the time of submission.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be active and in hand upon submission.

Reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the last 12 months is required for submission.
