Events is an innovative and rapidly expanding wedding planning company serving engaged couples across the United States. We are actively seeking talented planners to join our dynamic team. The position of Lead Wedding Planner is perfect for enthusiastic individuals who aspire to create unforgettable wedding experiences. This is a contract role that offers the flexibility to set your own schedule! Comprehensive training will be provided. Compensation is $300 for approximately 10-12 hours of work, paid per project. Join us for the exciting 2026 wedding season and beyond!As a Lead Wedding Planner, you will provide essential wedding planning services primarily on-site, collaborating closely with our client experience managers and assistant coordinators to ensure seamless execution of weddings.Conduct a final details call with clients around 6 weeks before the wedding to confirm logistics, timeline, and expectations.Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal the day before the wedding to ensure all participants are comfortable with timing, processional flow, and key cues.Act as the primary advocate for the couple on their special day, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused demeanor while supporting them through any challenges that arise.Oversee the setup of the ceremony and reception in alignment with our event design and day-of execution playbook.Manage the full wedding day execution, from the arrival of vendors to the final breakdown at the end of the evening.Welcome, direct, and serve as the main point of contact for all vendors involved.Communicate setup instructions clearly to ensure all vendors align with the event plan.Coordinate and assist with the placement of personal and event details, including escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, guest book, and décor elements.Provide guidance and support to the wedding party and family members with timing cues and any day-of needs.Ensure all end-of-event items (gifts, guest book, personal décor, etc.) are properly packed and accounted for.Proactively manage and resolve any issues or last-minute changes to ensure a smooth guest experience.Requirements:Availability to work on weekends is essential.At least 2 years of experience as a wedding planner or event planner is required.Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must.Reliable transportation is necessary.Ability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
