Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
CNC machining certification or technical training is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Experience Requirements

3+ years of CNC milling machine operation experience in a custom manufacturing or high-mix production environment.
Experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC milling equipment.
Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and production workflows.
Experience performing quality inspections and verifying parts meet specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

CNC programming experience strongly preferred.
Experience with machine setup, tooling adjustments, and process optimization.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
Ability to safely load and unload materials, parts, and tooling.
Capable of lifting, moving, and handling production materials as required.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts based on production demands.

Job Duties

Operate CNC milling machines using established programs, work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation.
Set up CNC milling equipment and troubleshoot machining issues to maintain production efficiency.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to produce accurate parts.
Load and unload raw materials, finished parts, and tooling safely and efficiently.
Monitor tooling for wear, damage, or breakage and make necessary adjustments.
Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Complete secondary operations and part-finishing tasks during machine cycle times.
Move completed parts to designated production, staging, or inspection areas.
Maintain production schedules and complete work orders accurately and on time.
Support other manufacturing departments and perform additional duties as needed to meet operational goals.
