Hepatology Faculty Opportunities – Open Rank John Sealy School of Medicine University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston, Texas We are seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible Hepatologists at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Faculty will provide clinical care, teach learners across all levels, and pursue scholarship or research interests aligned with the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Positions may emphasize clinical service, education, research, hepatology, general endoscopy procedures, or advanced endoscopy depending on each candidate’s expertise and career interests. Faculty report to the Division Chief and work collaboratively across specialties to support UTMB’s clinical, educational, and research missions. Required Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or equivalent). Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Texas. Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency and a Hepatology Fellowship. Demonstrated competence in EGD and colonoscopy procedures. Commitment to clinical excellence and education. Income Package Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and educational background.
