Physical Education Teacher Materials Eligibility: Required: A valid California Single Subject teaching credential in Physical Education Valid California ELA1 Authorization, or CLAD certificate required Head coaching experience at the senior high school varsity level Knowledge of CIF-SS Blue Rules and Regulations Evidence of effective oral and written communication skills Proven leadership and organizational abilities Knowledge of Title IX Law Possess valid driver’s license Desirable: Masters Degree in Physical Ed, Sports Management or related special subjects areas Experience as an athletic director/coordinator at the senior high school level Administrative Credential Possession of a valid First Aid, CPR & Concussion Certificates Knowledge of ASB & fundraising procedures Comments and Other Information: Attach all support materials (professional references, resume, transcripts and a copy of appropriate credentials). Position Description: Under the direction of the Principal, assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the policies, regulations, guidelines, procedures and State/Federal laws pertaining to a school site interscholastic sports program; to serve as site Title IX Coordinator and act as a resource to administrators and interscholastic personnel concerning sports and recreation activities; and to do other related functions as directed.
