Hospice RN Opportunity at Harmony HospiceJoin our team at Harmony Hospice as a Hospice RN! Part-time opportunity available. Must work every Saturday and Sunday! $55.00 per hour (all inclusive).At Harmony Hospice, our highly trained staff of dedicated professionals focus on quality of life and maximum comfort and are ready to adapt as patient needs evolve. We also serve as a resource for loved ones as they go through their emotional journeys, make important decisions, and learn how to best care for their families during this time. Compassionate and caring team!Responsibilities for Hospice RN:Manages primary caseload of Hospice patients per physician's instructions and in compliance with hospice regulations and Medicare guidelinesImplements and updates care plans to address patient's nursing needsEducates and supports patients, family, and staff on nursing care and patient needsCollaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to meet all patient and family care requirementsSupervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Hospice Aides when neededRequirements for Hospice RN:Experience as a Registered Nurse requiredDischarge planning experience is requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, expressing self in a clear, concise, and professional mannerAbility to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary team members, patients, families, and external case managersExcellent time management and organizational skillsAnalytical and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes, and multiple interruptionsOur Core Values in ActionPassion – Delivering compassionate, resident-centered nursing care that promotes healing, comfort, and dignity.Respect – Treating every resident, family member, and team member with professionalism, empathy, and dignity.Excellence – Upholding the highest standards of clinical practice, safety, and documentation in all aspects of care.The facility provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees and prohibits discrimination and harassment.
