Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Post Anesthetic Care for a travel assignment in a dynamic acute care setting in Morgantown, WV. This role involves working across various phases of care, including Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II, where you'll be part of a team managing diverse surgical cases in both adult and pediatric populations.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Provide comprehensive care across Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II
• Handle adult and pediatric surgical cases, including general surgery and major specialties
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC EMR and respiratory therapy equipment
• Monitor ICU patients recovering in PACU when necessary
• Read and interpret patient monitoring strips
• Engage in rotating shifts, with responsibilities for call and weekend duties
• Comply with the unit's dress code and orientation schedule

Requirements of the RN - PACU- Post Anesthetic Care

• Valid RN license for submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Prior PACU experience in a level 1 trauma setting preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Proficiency with respiratory therapy equipment (vents, CPAP, Bi-PAP)
