Key Responsibilities Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing variances. Manage accounts payable activities, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor statements. Maintain and manage the purchase order system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate coding and approval of invoices. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses as needed. Support external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices within the accounting function. Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned. Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 1 or more years of experience in accounting or related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, etc.). Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive self‑starter with a willingness to learn and grow within the organization. Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with other accounting software or ERP systems is a plus. Certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) or progress toward certification is advantageous.
