Software Engineer 1

Job Description

Software Engineer 1

New York, NY | Hybrid | Full-time

Pave is on a mission to democratize wealth management by revolutionizing how financial advisers spend their time. Our platform is powered by a proprietary ML algorithm previously only available for billionaires. We enable advisors to build personalized investment strategies and automate trading across their entire book of business—empowering them to spend more time focusing on their client relationships and growing assets under management (AUM).

At Pave one of our greatest strengths is the diversity of our team. We are motivated by a shared love of the product, and we value building a culture of new perspectives and creative thinking. Our team has experience across many industries and eras, from companies such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Fidelity, several hedge funds, Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon, Wealthfront, DriveWealth, and E-Trade.

Pave is scaling fast, with significant customer growth in the past quarter and even more expected through the new year. With more clients comes more strain to our small team (a good problem to have!) and there are plentiful opportunities to help the company scale reliably. This is the focus of our growing Internal team. We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer who is proficient working with AI and excited to work across teams to help improve the day-to-day for everyone at Pave. This is a role with a lot of agency and autonomy, a bit of a playground for learning and trying on many hats. We are looking for people who want to make an impact and contribute their ideas.
