Counter Sales Representative

Counter Sales Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Associate with a preference for HVAC or plumbing knowledge. Solid computer skills are also preferred, as you will be on the computer for a big part of the day. Other duties will include answering the phone, stocking shelves, transferring material between branches and vendors, and maintaining a clean neat work area. The ideal candidate will assist customers with product selections, provide exceptional service, and contribute to the overall success of our sales department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with product inquiries and purchases.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide information on product features, pricing, and availability.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and targets.
• Keep abreast of product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.
