Nurse, RN DAYSHIFT *NO WEEKENDS

Registered Nurse (RN) – Senior Living We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide direct care and supervisory support for residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. The RN will ensure quality care through assessment, monitoring, care planning, and coordination with physicians and staff. Responsibilities Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants, ensuring a high standard of nursing care and task completion. Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards to maintain high quality care. Motivate LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit. Explain nursing procedures and provide assistance to staff to assure ongoing understanding and training. Communicate regularly with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments, observations, and suggestions of problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, and conditions. Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental, and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff. When indicated, notify the physician and family members according to prescribed procedures. Ensure compliance with nursing standards of practice, standard procedures, and established State and Federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities. Provide direct care to residents. Assist in daily resident assessment. Qualifications Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State. One year nursing experience necessary. Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing. Skill in assessing problems, planning, and evaluating solutions in relation to routine supervision of LPNs, nursing assistants, and resident needs. Understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with people. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English). Genuine compassion for senior adults and the disabled. Good human relations skills and the ability to monitor and direct the activities of others. Availability to work beyond normal hours, including weekends, holidays, and other shifts as required. Compensation Pay Range: $33.23 – $46.75 per hour. Reasonable Pay Estimate: The actual offered rate depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, location, and internal and external equity considerations.
