Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to provide critical patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed electronic health records using Epic.
• Respond promptly to clinical emergencies, providing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including BLS certifications and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state or compact license required at submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in charting with Epic electronic medical records system required.
• BLS certification must be current and with no expiration.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour nights).
• Strong critical thinking and excellent patient communication skills.
