Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Schedule

3 x 12-hour night shifts with weekend coverage required.

Assignment Details

Patient ratio is 1:6. One pre-approved time off (RTO) per contract.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal.
BLS certification required.
Experience with Med/Surg and Telemetry; dysrhythmia recognition/management; non-invasive airway management; peripheral IV care; isolation precautions.
Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a medical/surgical setting.
Monitor and manage telemetry and dysrhythmias.
Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation will include 32 hours of onsite modules; completion of core items/labs must be within 48 hours of contract signing.
