What You Will Do: Conduct comprehensive assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning for students referred through school-based services. Provide individual, family, crisis, and group therapy using evidence-based practices, including trauma-informed approaches and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS). Respond to urgent behavioral health needs, crisis situations, and Rapid Response Evaluations, coordinating care with families, schools, hospitals, and community providers. Serve as a trusted liaison and advocate for students and families, helping connect them with appropriate services and resources. Deliver parenting support programs, clinical consultation, trauma screenings, and other specialized services that promote student well-being and success. Complete timely documentation, treatment updates, and clinical records in accordance with agency, licensing, and regulatory requirements. What You Will Bring Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field. Connecticut clinical licensure required or license-eligible status (LCSW preferred; LMSW, LPC, or other qualified mental health licensure considered). Minimum one year of experience providing therapy and behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families. Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic practices. Experience providing crisis assessments and serving children with complex behavioral health needs. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with students, families, schools, and community partners. Why Work at BHcare?
