As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Customer Service in Castle Hayne, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting policy violations, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity through required channels.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
