Job Summary:
As the Content Specialist at Seabrook Windermere Real Estate, your primary responsibilities include content development within our CMS and CRM, crafting professional and compelling written content, capturing Seabrook through multimedia projects, and analyzing your content's metrics to ensure optimization. You'll play a key role in shaping and maintaining the digital and print presence of Seabrook's real estate brand for clarity and conversion with an emphasis on mastering marketing for premier, luxury listings. This is an onsite position where you will work closely with the marketing and sales teams.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy storyteller who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about creative content marketing, data, and sharing Seabrook's unique story.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Develop and publish engaging, SEO-optimized content across Seabrook's website. Projects include new crafting eye-catching listings, articles, digital and print lookbooks, writing ad copy, and creating and publishing events.
- Analytics reporting across multiple platforms to make data-driven strategy decisions in the digital and print spheres of the content you have created and monitor.
- Content creation within the real estate CRM, including building drip campaigns, newsletter templates, lead intake forms, announcements, surveys, and packets.
- Align written content with marketing goals by collaborating closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure messaging supports brand consistency and business objectives.
- Edit and proofread all content to uphold standards of accuracy, clarity, and brand voice within the marketing and communications teams.
- Conduct research on industry trends, community happenings, and real estate market insights to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Regularly review and refine web content to meet evolving SEO strategies and ensure optimal site usability and performance.
- Stay informed on best practices in SEO, digital content strategy, and marketing trends to ensure continued growth in content quality and effectiveness.
- Work cross-functionally with departments throughout all of Seabrook to create content that reflects Seabrook's values and strengthens its digital presence.
- Assist in producing supporting visuals for content, such as captions, graphics, and infographics for digital storytelling as needed.
- Work directly with Seabrook homeowners to help share their Seabrook stories through written, photography, and video content.
- Provide additional support to the marketing team as needed on content-related and marketing projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an exceptional eye for grammar, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Proficient in building and updating web pages using content management systems (CMS); experience with platforms like WordPress or similar tools preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Microsoft Clarity to inform content strategy and track performance.
- Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content tailored for web, optimized for search engines, and aligned with brand voice.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Basic graphic design capabilities are a bonus, especially for creating complementary visuals for blogs, listings, and web content.
- Knowledge of real estate terminology and market trends is a plus.
Qualifications:
- A strong writing portfolio showcasing previous content writing, preferably in the real estate sector.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field with exceptional communication strengths.
- Previous work experience in content writing, preferably in real estate, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with SEO and SEM principles and practices, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and content optimization.
- Must be able to work onsite in Seabrook, Washington.
- Experience with CMS platforms and basic graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
- All candidates must pass a background check prior to employment.
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Hourly Rate: $23-$29
