Credit Specialist

Amerock is a leading provider of decorative and functional hardware solutions. Founded in 1928, Amerock is known for its chic design accessories, including cabinet hardware, bath accessories, decorative hooks and wall plates that coordinate seamlessly with plumbing fixtures and home décor. The Credit Specialist manages a portfolio of process‑focused customers and national accounts. This is a hybrid role based out of Huntersville, NC. The schedule is Amerock Flex: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Responsibilities Manage customers utilizing portals for purchase order delivery, invoicing, and payment, and handle a wide variety of credit and collection functions. Handle sophisticated, large, or difficult credit accounts, ensuring positive customer relations and minimizing outstanding debts. Maintain consistency between credit and collection activities and the organization’s overall customer relations strategy. Implement credit policies to maintain an acceptable risk level, promote prompt repayments, minimize losses, and efficiently collect arrears. Contact customers regarding delinquent payments, prepare reports reflecting credit and collection status, and identify and address problem debts. Participate in associate meetings, communicate concerns to management, and strengthen internal and external relationships. Support enterprise business and sales objectives through efficient performance of job responsibilities. Work with Sales and Operations associates to ensure prompt resolution of any credit‑related customer issues. Assist with processing customer credit applications and evaluating credit worthiness. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in credit management or similar roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.). Effective verbal and written communication. Ability to prioritize workload appropriately to balance multiple demands and meet timelines. Strong and accurate data entry skills.
