Overview Registered Nurse – Nurse Educator, Hermiston, Oregon. Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week on day shift in a hospital setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,571–$2,828 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Start date: 09/06/2026 Facility/work setting: Hospital Benefits: fast credentialing, housing assistance, extension opportunities, 24/7 recruiter and travel support Responsibilities Provide education and instruction for clinical staff, focusing on healthcare education and training programs Develop, deliver, and evaluate education using simulation training with mannequins and simulation software Serve as a resource to staff and collaborate with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators to identify educational opportunities Partner with Quality Management to promote continuous improvement and support required education for applicable programs Write measurable learning objectives and assess participant learning; adjust programs as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate empathy, teamwork, and professional communication in daily activities Requirements Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing; Master of Science in Nursing strongly preferred Licenses/ certifications/ registrations: Current Oregon RN license; Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, CNOR, ACLS, and PALS certification required Experience: Minimum of 5 years hospital nursing experience, with at least 3 years in the OR Skills: Computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel); strong written and verbal communication; ability to develop educational objectives; typing speed at least 45 WPM; familiarity with electronic health record systems is helpful Other: Ability to work in a hospital setting, maintain confidentiality, and support quality improvement initiatives; prior teaching or curriculum development experience and experience with simulation are preferred Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay Guaranteed hours Housing assistance Bonus opportunities Extension opportunities 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
