Job Description:Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical/electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end productsAble to follow verbal and written instruction maintaining a focus on qualityFollows an engineering assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align partsUses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenchesMaintains consistent quality and productivity levelsUses Microsoft Office programsMaintains neat and clean work areaIdentifies problems and contributes to process improvementsPerforms some hand soldering on electronic assembliesWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production state of the art environmentWorks as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasksTraversing across the production floor for the duration of their shiftAble to transport up to 30 lbsAble to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of MaterialThis is a 6 Month full-time Contract or Contract to hire opportunityThe ideal candidate will have:Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Good hand-eye coordination for work under a microscope.Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bills of MaterialWorking knowledge of electronic Theory relating to RF transmission, receivers' circuits, analog and digital circuitry.The ability to troubleshoot RF/Digital circuits to the component level.Understanding and able to perform calibration of RF circuity and equipment calibration procedures.Test equipment, i.e., signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF equipmentAdvanced ability solves complex technical problems, analyze faulty circuitsElectrical background at the component levelCapable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the client E3 continuous improvement processJ-STD-00, IPC-610Mechanical or electrical assembly experience to include Soldering.Pay Range: $25.00 - $26.50 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
