Responsibilities
- Interrogate cardiac implantable electronic devices, monitor patient response, adjust device settings per provider orders, manage remote monitoring, and troubleshoot device-related concerns
- Organize follow-up care for patients receiving services through the Device Clinic; maintain device clinic databases and patient records
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as ordered, including electrocardiograms (EKGs), event monitors, Holter monitors, and Zio Patch applications
- Coordinate and schedule surgical or procedural interventions related to cardiac implantable devices; collaborate with radiology, surgical, and anesthesia teams
- Educate patients and families about CIEDs, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology-related procedures (including ablation therapy); provide ongoing support
- Maintain examination and treatment rooms, ensure cleanliness and stocking of supplies; address walk-in and urgent patient needs in collaboration with providers
- Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and departmental initiatives to support safe, effective patient care

Requirements
- Current Montana RN license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification
- Minimum 1 year of registered nursing experience
- Experience managing cardiac implantable devices (pacemakers and ICDs) and familiarity with major device platforms (Biotronik, Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific)
- Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia management and ECG interpretation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting; strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in Bozeman’s assignment setting and meet travel/residency requirements (reside at least 90 miles away from the assignment location)
