Overview The Business Data Analyst role requires an inquisitive, analytical, and self‑motivated professional to act as key liaison to the Commercial and Executive Leadership Team in planning and executing business strategy based on data driven results. Core responsibilities include gathering, cleaning, analyzing, interpreting and presenting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that help shape future business decisions. The position focuses on financial and commercial data models but will provide support across the organization. The Business Data Analyst reports to the VP Finance/Treasurer and will interface with sales, marketing, client services, reimbursement, finance, and senior leadership. Qualifications

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Data Analytics, Business or Finance related fields. 1-2 years’ experience in analytics or consulting analyst role. 1-2 years’ experience with data visualization tools like Power BI (Preferred), Tableau, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must be able to independently write scripts/code using Python/Pandas (Preferred), SQL (Preferred), or other analytical coding language. Expert Level knowledge with Microsoft Applications including Excel and PowerPoint. Must know pivot tables, joins (VLOOKUP and SQL), dynamic cell references, charts/graphs, and workflow diagrams. Working knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX Calculations. Able to programmatically connect data sources via APIs or other automated methods. Excellent analytical skills required. Ability to analyze/reconcile large amounts of data (in memory) and see gaps or trends that may impact anticipated results or identify that a change or new solution is required. Proven problem solving, critical thinking and evaluation skills. Ability to teach themselves new analytical skills without much manager oversight. Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to work with diverse personalities at all organizational levels in pursuit of the company’s goals; tactful, mature and flexible. Strong communication and presentation skills. Must be able to facilitate working meetings, ask questions and apply active listening skills, and convey data driven results. Must demonstrate ability to design dashboards with complex information in a clean user‑friendly manner. Passionate about documentation. Ability to create clear and concise documentation that is reusable and reproducible. Ability to work independently with minimal direction, take initiative within scope of work responsibilities. Ability to prioritize and organize in order to manage multiple projects, analyze multiple data sets simultaneously: Analysts may face competing workflows, managing multiple projects at once, or analyzing multiple data sets simultaneously. Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Fast paced environment. Majority of work is completed in an office setting working inside a temperature‑controlled environment. Occasional work outside may be required to support employee events. May perform activities in an environment containing hazardous elements and requiring safety awareness and adherence to all safety and GMP policies and guidelines. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to be present in the corporate office environment. Position requires the ability to sit for a minimum of 6+ hours per day. Ability to stand, walk, bend over, and reach above head on a regular basis. Ability to use a variety of office equipment, including keyboards. Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds occasionally. Responsibilities Build a Modern Data Stack/Analytical Infrastructure – Create end to end data pipelines, clean (ETL) existing data sources from APIs/CSVs/Databases, set up stagging tables within databases and present data via Visualization Tools. Data Collection – Gather data from various sources using Python/Pandas, build data mart tables of aggregated information, leverage APIs to streamline insights, and then clean, transform, and prepare it (ETL) for analysis. Analysis – Draw meaningful conclusions from the data, identify key insights, and understanding the implications for the business. Prepare quarterly reports, analyze financial data, and recommend sales predictions based on statistical models. Data Visualization – Create visualizations like dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Python. Financial Analysis and Dashboards – Prepare financial analysis on the success of new products, provide financial support on special projects, and develop dashboards which highlight KPIs for Senior Leadership. Variance Analysis – Research, automate via analytics tools and report on variances from standard data such as cost and time. SalesForce Opportunities – Re‑architect data schemas, integrate information from CRM and eCommerce platforms, analyze and report patient loyalty trends as well as report conversion data from sample to new patient starts. Sales Forecasting – Forecast anticipated sales by region, distribution channel, and product division. Other duties as assigned.
