Opportunity Highlights The incoming physician will join a high-performing Interventional Radiology team providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient procedural services across a broad range of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This is a full-time, hospital-based position located on the main VHC Health campus in Arlington, Virginia. The IR program is supported by experienced technologists, dedicated nursing staff, advanced imaging capabilities, and a collaborative procedural environment that continues to expand in both complexity and volume.VHC Health's Interventional Radiology service works closely with oncology, vascular surgery, hepatology, nephrology, trauma, emergency medicine, and surgical specialties to provide high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the continuum of treatment. Candidate Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic RadiologyFellowship training in Interventional RadiologyBoard Certified/Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR)Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of VirginiaExcellent communication and collaborative skillsInterest in multidisciplinary care and program development preferredNeuro interventional radiology skills preferred (at least one member of the IR team must be trained in neuro intervention to support stroke patient care)Job DescriptionPurpose & Scope:The physician is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients.
