Job Summary:
The position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in Plainview, Texas. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves floating between units, charge responsibilities, and managing a diverse range of emergency clinical situations. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced ER RNs seeking a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Plainview, Texas
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Required Qualifications: Valid State License (Compact license must be in hand at submission), minimum of 2 years of experience, previous charge experience required, proven patient ratio experience of 4:1, experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in emergency departments with a focus on adult and pediatric patients, trauma, or high-acuity care.
• Special Skills & Experience: Ability to handle emergency procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, chest tube insertion, and procedural sedation. Extensive knowledge of trauma, cardiac, neurological, and behavioral health emergencies is necessary.
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to quickly assume charge responsibilities and manage a wide array of emergency clinical conditions without extensive orientation.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior employment questions, including experience at Providence facilities if applicable. Two recent references covering a 1-year period are required.
