The Certified Science Secondary Teacher will join the General Secondary Education Team to deliver high-quality science education to secondary students. Reporting directly to the School Principal, this role is pivotal in fostering a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages scientific inquiry and skill development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver comprehensive science lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Instruct students in classroom settings, promoting engagement and understanding
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods
- Supervise and enforce safety protocols in science laboratory activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience teaching secondary science
- Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education or a Science-related field
- Certification in Secondary Science Teaching
- Strong classroom management skills
- Competence in student assessment techniques
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
