Maintenance Electrician- 2nd and 3rd shift

Job TitleJob DescriptionRequirements:Work in a safe manner, follow safety rules and documents, wear required PPE. Possess working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's & AC/DC Drives, Siemens PLC's & Drives experience a plus, control and measuring devices, HMI's, hydraulic systems, and electrical test equipment. Must be proficient in using PLC and drive software and maintain software as far as upgrades and Rockwell activations. Ability to run electrical circuits and panels. Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics.Responsibilities:Inspect, repair, install and wire all electrical apparatus, devices and circuits, of any voltage in the plant or assigned areas.Required knowledge of following tools:Electrical testing instrumentsPower hand toolsSoldering equipmentPipe benders and threading, safety devices, miscellaneous hand toolsLift trucks, cranes, man lifts.Knowledge of following material:All types and sizes of AC and DC motors, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starter, switches, lighting equipment, power distribution and control circuits, PLC logic and controls, conduit and fittings, wire and cable, hardware, insulation, solder, repair and replacement parts, etc.Physical Requirements:Walking or standing 80% of the shiftSome lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing required.Work in hot and cold environmentsWork in an Industrial Mill EnvironmentQualifications:High School Diploma or General Equivalency DiplomaGraduated from an electrical technical school or electrical engineering programMinimum 5 years of experience preferredAttention to detailMust be able to operate mobile equipment including but not limited to forklifts and cranesAbility to organize material on machines as scheduledMust be able to work mandatory overtime as neededMust be able to work multiple shifts as neededRead micrometers, calipers and other measurement devicesAbility to work in a team environmentBasic computer skillsManufacturing experience preferred
