License/Certs: Valid Florida RN and NP licensure, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification

Experience: Previous NICU experience required; new graduates not accepted

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care within a 28-bed Level III NICU
• Manage an average daily NICU census of approximately 19 critically ill neonates
• Collaborate closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary NICU staff
• Attend high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitations
• Perform neonatal procedures based on clinical competency
• Conduct daily rounds and manage patient care plans
• Support approximately 2,700 annual deliveries
• Participate in educational activities and training, including medical student rotations
• Exercise autonomous clinical decision-making in a team-based environment

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Florida RN and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner licenses
• Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
• Previous experience in NICU or neonatal intensive care

Preferred:

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent team collaboration abilities
• Commitment to evidence-based, safe, and patient-centered neonatal care
