As a Private Caregiver, you have the rewarding job of helping individual seniors in our community live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in the places they love. Duties may include (but not limited to):Providing companionshipProviding the assistance needed in activities of daily livingProviding emotional support, patience and reassurance to residentsCreating a positive, calm, and engaging environment for those acclimating to a new home settingProvide basic education and reminders to residents on safe movement, use of assistive devices and self-care plans.Provide medication remindersAssist with grooming, dressing or eating.Every bit of direct care you provide meets and exceeds expectations, and you feel good being a light in the lives of these individual seniors!Previous caregiving experienceA heart for serving seniorsCNA certification is preferred but not required. Experience with dementia or geriatrics would be beneficial for you in this role.
