electrical contractor

in the Tampa area is seeking an organized, detail-oriented

Safety & Compliance Coordinator

to support our safety department and field operations. This is primarily an office-based position responsible for the administrative and compliance side of our safety program. The position will work closely with senior safety personnel, field supervisors, project management, and company management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction or industrial safety experience who is strong with computers, documentation, compliance systems, and follow-through. Responsibilities Manage and maintain contractor compliance systems including

ISNetworld and Avetta Maintain customer prequalification and safety documentation Track compliance requirements, renewals, and expirations Update and maintain company safety manuals, written programs, policies, procedures, and forms Track employee safety training, certifications, and site-specific requirements Maintain OSHA, MSHA, incident, inspection, and other safety records Assist with OSHA 300/301 recordkeeping and required reporting Coordinate employee safety orientations and customer-specific training requirements Monitor company vehicle camera and GPS systems Review speeding, seatbelt, distracted-driving, harsh-driving, and other fleet-safety events Document and follow up on vehicle-policy violations with employees and supervisors Maintain driver-safety records and reporting Assist with incident investigations and corrective-action tracking Coordinate safety documentation requested by customers and project management Assist with customer and contractor-compliance audits Maintain SDS, PPE, training, and other required safety documentation Provide administrative support to senior safety personnel Conduct occasional jobsite safety visits and inspections, depending on experience Additional duties as necessary Requirements & Skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent computer and document-management skills Ability to independently track deadlines and follow through on outstanding requirements Comfortable communicating with employees, supervisors, customers, and management Experience with

ISNetworld and/or Avetta strongly preferred Construction, industrial, electrical, utility, mining, or power-generation experience is a plus Familiarity with OSHA, MSHA, NFPA 70E, fleet safety, workers' compensation, or contractor safety programs is helpful Previous experience as a Safety Coordinator, EHS Coordinator, Safety Administrator, Compliance Coordinator, or similar position is preferred We are particularly interested in someone who is organized, persistent, comfortable holding people accountable, and capable of taking ownership of the administrative side of a busy safety department.
