A retail pharmacist position is available for a short-term travel assignment in Champaign, Illinois, from September 21 to 25. This role focuses on providing excellent patient care through accurate medication dispensing and professional counseling.

Schedule:

• 1st shift
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications following prescriptions with accuracy and safety under managerial supervision.
• Counsel patients on drug regimens, providing clear, helpful advice to ensure proper medication use.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies.
• Maintain and manage medication stock, including controlled substance inventories and records.
• Resolve issues related to patient medication and third-party insurance coverage.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in Illinois.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software, preferably Pioneer.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach.
