Finance Domain Expert

As a Finance Domain Expert, you will collaborate with AI and engineering teams to define workflows, create evaluations and assess the capabilities of large language models (LLMs) in handling complex financial tasks. The role involves data curation, feedback iteration and applying domain expertise in areas such as investment banking, private equity, asset management and equity research. You will also contribute to building fintech applications by leveraging AI/LLM models and ensuring quality through rubrics, data annotations and prompt engineering. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to define research-based workflows in finance domains such as M&A deal analysis, company valuation, and portfolio construction. Develop comprehensive evaluations and test cases to assess workflow completion, specifying inputs, outputs, and success criteria. Design evaluations to assess LLM capabilities in tasks like data extraction, financial statement analysis, market trend identification, and risk assessment. Provide guidance on curating high-quality financial data for training and fine-tuning LLMs. Work closely with the product team to provide feedback on LLM performance and suggest improvements. Define workflows for private equity, asset management, investment banking, and equity research tasks. Qualifications 12+ years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or equity research. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills.
