Sterile Processing Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, Monday - Friday, with one weekend per 4-week schedule.

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician with strong experience in a trauma center environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case cart processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain timely and accurate processing of surgical case carts for upcoming procedures.
• Work independently with minimal orientation and oversight.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current CBSPB or HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) certification.
• Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a trauma center environment.
• Minimal or no requested time off during the assignment.
