About This Role
Working in a Church based child care program. We promote a positive working team environment for the development of our students. We are a small staff with low employee turnover who cares about our staff and students. You would be responsible for maintaining a safe play environment. Observe and monitor children's play activities. Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues. Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
What You'll Do- Creating a nurturing environment where children feel secure and supported.
- Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety standards.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a sense of community and teamwork.
- Designing and implementing structured educational activities that cater to children's diverse needs and interests.
A minimum of 1 year's experience in a professional DSS registered childcare environment is required.
We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate compassion, patience, and a strong ability to form positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Candidate must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass background checks is essential.
