Position Overview At GCS-SIGAL, the Marketing Intern will work closely with the marketing team and preconstruction team to support creative, client-focused marketing efforts in the construction industry. This role offers meaningful exposure to how marketing helps a general contractor tell project stories, strengthen brand visibility, coordinate events, support proposal development, and contribute to business development efforts tied to active and prospective construction projects. What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience creating engaging marketing content, supporting brand awareness initiatives, and contributing to proposal packages, project collateral, and client-facing presentations A stronger foundation for building creative, organized, and client-focused marketing skills within construction projects and pursuits Position Functions Partner with internal and external teams to create compelling content that strengthens awareness of the GCS-SIGAL brand Assist in creating content for social media accounts to highlight company news, projects, people, and events Assist with organizing marketing files, proposal materials, and project-related content Support the coordination and completion of proposal packages, ensuring polished submissions Coordinate with vendors to deliver professional-quality marketing materials Assist in creating polished, construction-focused collateral and presentations Maintain client and prospective client contact information to support business development efforts Experience/Education Pursuing a BS/BA or MS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field Personal Strengths Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail, with an eye for graphic design and visual organization Ability to collaborate effectively with team members Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs Eagerness to participate, contribute, and learn Proficient in design software platforms, including InDesign (preferred) GCS|SIGAL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
