About the Position

AHI Supply is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Package Machine Operator to support cement production operations at our Buda facility. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe, organized production environment. This is a hands-on, physical role in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Schedule

Standard work hours are Monday - Friday from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or until all work is completed. Due to the nature of the role, occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines and business needs. Employees will be notified in advance when additional hours are needed and will be compensated accordingly for all overtime worked.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machines for bagged and bulk cement products
• Blend, fill, package, stack, and shrink-wrap cement products per specifications
• Package masonry cement into bags and super sacks, including securing ties and covers
• Monitor production lines for issues such as jams, broken bags, or material loss
• Recapture and reprocess escaped material as needed
• Perform routine equipment checks and report mechanical or safety concerns immediately
• Maintain accurate production and packaging documentation
• Stock and replenish packaging materials such as bags, tape, and pallets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including sweeping and housekeeping
• Follow all OSHA regulations, AHI Supply safety policies, and Buda site-specific procedures
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to regularly lift and move materials up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and team-oriented attitude
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
