Team Lead Rehabilitation Operations - Inpatient Rehab Facility Muhlenberg

Summary Individuals in the Rehab Operations Lead position are strong clinicians whose primary role is providing expert level patient care relative to their licensure. They assist the direct site manager in optimizing operational performance of their site, including patient access, employee engagement, service recovery, and regulatory compliance. They may also represent rehab services in interdisciplinary meetings and facilitate bi‑directional communication as directed by leadership. Job Duties Perform all essential functions of the PT, OT, or SLP therapist role and model evidence‑based practice while providing direct patient care. Assist leadership in optimizing operational performance, including access, employee engagement, patient experience, environment of care, service recovery, regulatory compliance, and other duties as assigned. Represent Rehab Services at clinical interdisciplinary team meetings and facilitate bi‑directional communication. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Minimum 2 years experience providing direct patient care. Ability to train others; broad knowledge of roles within the healthcare industry. Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data and monitoring/assessing performance of self and others to make improvements or take corrective action. Ability to conduct demographic analysis related to clients. American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification – State of Pennsylvania. Upon hire: Licensed Physical Therapist, Licensed Occupational Therapist, or Licensed Speech Language Pathologist – State of Pennsylvania. Physical demands: lift and carry 40–50 lbs.; push/pull patients on bed or stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force); lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of patient weight; frequent to continuous standing/walking; patient transporters may walk 8–10 miles per shift; may include kneeling, bending, squatting, CPR. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Work Shift & Location Day Shift – Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Two weekend days per month.
