Radiology/CT Technologist - 8H Nights

The Radiology/CT Technologist performs sophisticated imaging studies at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for imaging diagnosis while performing a variety of technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient data into Epic and other necessary computer systems.
• Position patients correctly for procedures and obtain appropriate scout films.
• Assist the Interventional radiologist with sterile equipment as needed.
• Monitor exposure factors and ensure adherence to imaging workflow in PACS.
• Confirm vascular access and inject contrast according to protocol.
• Conduct pre-procedural screening and monitor patients for adverse reactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NYS License required
• ARRT certification in CT and MRI
• NYS DOH certification in Radiology Technologist
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• BLS certification
• NYS DOH Injection Contrast certification
• Multilingualism is a plus

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
