Job Description

Job Summary:
The Radiology Technician is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. They ensure high-quality image acquisition while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients properly to obtain optimal imaging results.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and maintain patient records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to all regulatory and clinical standards, including licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NJDEP License and certification from the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrate experience in performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
• Possess excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to operate CT equipment and related systems effectively.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
