Position Overview

We're in search of an empathetic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a part of our expanding imaging team. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures that support our patients on their journeys while collaborating with a nurturing team that prioritizes high-quality care.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations by clearly explaining each procedure
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain thorough patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and procedural best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
