Job Title: Regional Director of Operations (RDO)

Location: South Florida (Miami / Fort Lauderdale preferred)

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 + Relocation / Signing Support Potential

Position Overview

The Regional Director of Operations (RDO) is a senior operational leader responsible for non-instructional business operations across our South Florida region. Serving as a coach, strategist, and accountability partner to campus-based Deans of Operations (DOOs), the RDO drives operational excellence, enrollment strategy, facilities readiness, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires a solutions-oriented leader who excels in multi-site management, data-driven decisions, and building high-performing teams to support student achievement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Coaching & Leadership

• Coach, train, and support Deans of Operations across South Region campuses.

• Drive operational consistency, accountability, and performance monitoring systems.

• Strengthen principal satisfaction by providing responsive, solutions-based support.

2. Recruitment, Enrollment & Family Experience

• Partner with school leaders and recruiters to meet/exceed FTE targets (FTE1 and FTE2).

• Analyze enrollment dashboards to improve conversion, onboarding, and student retention.

• Ensure front-office staff deliver exceptional customer service and positive family experiences.

3. Financial Stewardship & Business Operations

• Oversee regional operational budgets, purchasing protocols, and financial controls.

• Audit vendor management and procurement procedures across all campuses.

4. Facilities, Logistics & Compliance

• Lead Beginning-of-Year (BOY) operational readiness and safety planning.

• Oversee child nutrition (NSLP), facilities maintenance, and transportation logistics.

• Support site expansion, facility planning, and emergency preparedness.

Key Year 1 Goals & Success Metrics

• Enrollment: Maintain 100% of FTE targets across the region in October and February.

• Student Persistence: Achieve 90%+ student persistence.

• Leadership Retention: Retain 85%+ of Deans of Operations.

• Family Engagement: Ensure 100% of campuses execute a "Welcome to BridgePrep" program.

• Compliance: Achieve 100% compliance on state, federal, and internal operational audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Experience: 5–8+ years of multi-site operations leadership experience (K–12 education, charter management, or district support environments preferred).

• Skills: Expertise in school budgeting, enrollment systems, vendor management, and facilities oversight.

• Languages: Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.

• Travel: Willingness to travel regularly across South Florida campuses.
